1 ～する 〔帽子を脱ぐ〕 take off [remove] one's hat [cap]; raise [lift] one's hat [cap]; 《文》 uncover [bare] one's head; doff one's hat 《to sb》.

●起立脱帽して敬意を表する stand up bareheaded to show one's respect

・脱帽! 〔号令〕 Hats off (please)! | Please remove your hats.

2 ～する 〔(とてもかなわないと) 敬服する〕 take one's hat off 《to sb (for sth)》; admire sb greatly 《for sth》.
